Compliance before speed
We do not offer shortcuts. A fast release built on a fragile declaration turns into a penalty with interest. We would rather explain the right route.
COMEX HCY S.A.S. started in 2015 on a simple conviction: most customs problems are solved before they happen.
We are a Colombian customs agency licensed by the DIAN at Nivel 1, and we coordinate operations in five more countries in the region through licensed agents in each. We work with importers, exporters and free trade zone users on everything from a one-off shipment to continuous sourcing programmes.
That distinction matters and we say it plainly: in Colombia we clear the goods ourselves; in Mexico, Brazil, Chile, Argentina and Uruguay a locally licensed agent signs the filing, because each country requires it. What does not change is who builds, audits and answers for the file. See the detail country by country.
Our model rests on three deliberate decisions. First: every client has a named owner who knows their history, their product and their timings. Second: we review the documents at origin, not once the cargo is already accruing storage. Third: every technical position we take is written down with the regulation that supports it.
That last decision is what makes the difference when an audit arrives two years later. An orderly, defensible file is worth more than any one-off saving on a rate.
We do not offer shortcuts. A fast release built on a fragile declaration turns into a penalty with interest. We would rather explain the right route.
Every operation leaves a complete file: supporting papers, positions taken and correspondence. If customs asks — in any of the six countries — the answer is already built.
No call centres, no email chains without an owner. One person with a name, a direct line and knowledge of your account.
We flag a requirement or a regulatory change before it affects you, not once it has already cost you.
Every classification and every valuation rests on current regulation and doctrine. Nothing is decided by habit.
We read your operation beyond customs: incoterm, transport, cost and cash flow are all part of the analysis.
